Much to my own chagrin, I am a huge fan of Ghost Whisperer. I started watching with my friend Irene in Italy. I watched the entire first and second seasons in Italian. I have been a devoted viewer since my return from Italy.
At the end of every episode, Melinda (the ghost whisperer) helps each ghost crossover into the light. There is usually a meeting with the ghost and their loved ones with Melinda as the mediator or translator. The ghosts can hear the living but the living can’t hear the ghosts thus reling on Melinda. I get so annoyed with Melinda when she is acting as a translator. She is awful, often she will omit things the ghosts say or change the meaning using her own words. It's inevitable that I get upset when watching this show.

I saw part of the show once and I know what you are talking about. I noticed that she just left out things that the ghost said. Silly writers!
